There are B industrial companies in this province 9 of which are active with proper foundational facilities for constructing readily industrial units, and 4 other towns which are under planning. There land area of industrial towns here is more than 3920 hectares and except Sarbaz and Nikshahr new towns, all others have got registered documents. Comparing with total country, 7% of lands and 11% of registered documents of industrial towns belong to this province. The number of signed contracts is 1241, with 302 Hectares met rage which consists 4% of industrial land cession of entire country. There are 340 active units with more than 5400 employees which consists of 2.6% of country active units, and 2% of employment. There are also 4 rural areas here with proper facilities. During recent years according to board of ministers approval, 27 industrial groups with USD 295 000,000.00 currencial investment and 243 000,000,000.- Rials, and employment of 9000 people have been attracted to this province and performed production projects (industrial, mineral, agricultural, and servicing ones). Besides, by establishing the provincial bureau of attracting and directing investment and setting up sites, proper actions have been taken to develop industrial sector. One of the important projects under execution now is car parts, boats, ship scrape, water and waster pipes manufacturing factories, (3) cement factories, Granite stone production, and industrial abattoir units.
